How do I book Elegant Violin?
Inquire on our website to get started and we will respond within minutes or hours. Booking is official with signing the paperwork online and paying either a 50% deposit OR setting up a payment plan. At any point you can schedule a call to discuss your event and answer any questions you might have. After that, you'll complete our setlist form with your song selections. Easy and stress-free!
Do you need access to an outlet/electricity?
No outlets needed! Our battery-powered setup is designed for ultimate flexibility, allowing us to perform in a variety of locations without being tethered to an electrical outlet. Whether your venue is a charming garden, a scenic park, or even a remote countryside location, we can seamlessly provide beautiful music without the hassle of cords or finding power sources. This means less stress for you and more beautiful music anywhere you desire.
What do you charge for travel?
We include 100 miles of travel (50 miles each way) from downtown Cincinnati, OH or Raleigh, NC in all our packages, ensuring that many popular wedding locations are covered without any additional cost, approximately one hour from each base. We travel up to 3 hours away without needing hotel accommodations and can provide a travel quote when you inquire.
Who will be my violinist?
All of our violinists are highly trained and have extensive performance experience. You’ll know who will be performing for your event well in advance, allowing you to feel confident and comfortable with your musician. We take great care in matching you with a top local violinist and are committed to honoring specific requests whenever possible. Our goal is to ensure that your music is perfect and personal for your special day.
Can you play outdoors?
Absolutely! We love outdoor weddings. Our setup is designed to be flexible, so we can bring beautiful music to any setting, whether it's a beach, garden, or mountain top. We do ask for some practical considerations, such as providing shade on hot days to protect both the musician and the instrument, and cover in case of rain to safeguard the equipment. These small precautions help us ensure the best performance possible, regardless of the venue.
What if I don’t see my favorite song?
If your favorite song isn’t on our list, we’d be delighted to arrange it for you for $75. We understand how important music is in personalizing your wedding and are committed to making your dream playlist a reality. Simply let us know which song(s) you'd like at least 90 days before your event, and we’ll provide a quote for the custom arrangement. Our goal is to make your special day as unique and memorable as possible.
Do you need to attend the rehearsal?
No rehearsal needed! Our comprehensive setlist form captures all the details we need to ensure your wedding music is perfectly timed and executed. We've designed our process to be seamless and efficient, reducing the need for extra coordination and cost while still delivering a flawless performance. This approach saves you time and simplifies your planning process, giving you one less thing to worry about.
Do you play as a duo, quartet, etc?
We specialize in solo violin performances, creating a duet-like experience with live violin and recorded accompaniment. This unique approach allows us to deliver the rich and full sound of an ensemble, combining the authenticity of live violin with the depth of pre-recorded piano and acoustic guitar tracks. You get the elegance of a larger ensemble without the higher cost of multiple performers, making it a perfect blend of quality and affordability.
